Are You Prepared For The First Night In Your New Home?
There will be a lot of time and energy put into “The Big Move” so be sure when you are getting things together that you not forget to plan for the first night in your new space. More than likely you will not want to unpack everything as soon as you set foot in the door, so keep in mind what to keep accessible that first night.
For the pets in your family, you’ll need their animal food, medications, bowls for food and water, and their leashes and collars. Be sure to have some comfort toys ready for them. All these things should give them a sense of familiarity during the move, which is often very stressful for animals.
